Jamie Caven, Steve Brown , Jelle Klaasen and Andy Hamilton all had success at the 4th Players Championships held at Reading last Sunday (March 11th). Jelle got through to the last 64, whilst Bristol’s Steve Brown lost in his board final 6-5 to two time World Champion John Part. Jamie Caven and Andy Hamilton both went out in the quarter finals. Caven who had beaten Paul Nicholson in the previous round went out to Steve Beaton 6-5 whilst Hamilton who had already beaten fellow Premier League players Kevin Painter and Gary Anderson went out to Dave Chisnall.
